Des was a ‘regular bloke’, a person that the other apprentices would probably describe as ‘one of the lads’. Learners are expected to identify how his behaviour change may indicate he has been radicalised.
When visiting friends in Lincolnshire Tom decided to visit a ‘pick your own’ farm. Learners are expected to identify that this looks like a case of slavery / human trafficking.
Zane is new to the programme but he has made friends quickly. Learners are expected to identify that he is the subject of relationship abuse.
Peter is a year two apprentice who is generally doing well on his programme. In recent years Peter’s family have had some difficult times. Learners are expected to identify private fostering abuse.
