Characteristics of Effective Observation Reports
Date and Times: 18th June 2020 2.00pm to 3.30pm
What the Webinar will cover: The session is designed to help novice and experienced observers further improve the quality of the observation reports they produce, or reports produced by the people participants coach or manage.
Session Topics: By end of the session participants should be able, or more able to describe and explain:
the purpose of writing observation reports
the types of judgements a good report should contain
how to ensure that judgement statements are linked to and supported by appropriate evidence
how much evidence is required to meet Sufficiency requirements
the differences between the bullet point & paragraph approach to producing report content
the difference between Areas for Improvement Judgements & Suggestions for Improvement statements.
Webinar Delivery: The session is delivered in a highly interactive manner with lots of real learning activities. There will be lots of opportunities to interact with the trainer and ask questions. Questions about observation in general and report writing specifically that you need answering.
