This module will help learners expand their understanding of how they can provide effective learning support to learners with particular needs and which learners they should seek specialist support for.
(prices do not include VAT)
The topics covered include what is meant by the term ‘learning support’ in an adult learning context, and the types of learning support needs learners may have.
Learners will also look at the indicators that a learner may be in need of support, and the types of support all learners should be able to provide with basic English and Math skills, and ICT.
The module will also explore circumstances where the support required is quite significant, and a case for an LSA needs to be made, or possibly a specialist diagnostic is needed.
