Learners will explore why initial diagnostics are important, along with the importance of ensuring these activities are proportionate, appropriately sophisticated, and cover all the things they need to.
The module will also help learners, identify how to integrate course and initial assessment activities, and why this is important. The concept of graduating initial assessment task complexity will be examined.
How initial diagnostics for areas like literacy and numeracy can be integrated with subject specific diagnostic activities will be covered.
